Women's U23 International
The Young Lionesses' fixture in April will be staged at the New Bucks Head Stadium and tickets are on sale
England women's under-23s will welcome Sweden to New Bucks Head, home of AFC Telford United on Thursday 4 April (6.30pm BST).
Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased directly from the club, priced at £5 for adults and concessions are priced at £3 for senior 65+/12-17 and £1 for U12s
Shropshire is a familiar home for the Young Lionesses who played Belgium at Shrewsbury Town back in September, with a record crowd for the age group turning out to witness a 3-0 victory.
The match against Sweden will mark the final European League fixture of the season that Emma Coates’ side has been competing in since September. The WU23s remain undefeated in the competition, most recently drawing 1-1 with the Netherlands in February.
“This season has been brilliant for our Young Lionesses, giving them experience playing against quality opposition, in good stadiums and with bigger crowds," said Coates ahead of the game.
"We have our final match of the campaign against Sweden, which I'm sure will be a competitive and exciting game. We’re looking forward to finishing our season at home with another strong crowd, and I’d encourage all Lionesses fan to get their tickets and come and see the next generation of Lionesses.”
