Following an exciting visit from the FA to be part of filming content for the upcoming Squad Girls’ online training programme, Shifnal Girls were invited to take part in the Squad Girls’ Experience Day hosted at St. George’s Park on Thursday 1^st June 2023.

Upon arrival, the girls will be split into 5 groups and had fantastic opportunity to be involved in a variety of football and non-football-related activities with the focus on bringing the Squad Girls Football programme to life.

 Squad Girls’ Football is a FA programme aimed at females aged 12-14 who want to get involved with football in a fun, non-competitive environment. Sessions are designed to help players improve their ability across many aspects of the game, from dribbling, tackling and passing to communication, confidence and leadership.
